1) What does "A Ship Embayed" refer to?
2) What was the significance of hearing "2 shots"? 3 shots? 4 shots?
3) Did they see who the caped man riding the horse was? If not, what did they see?
4) They stood at the edge like crows on a roof ride, watching the ship on the sea.
Is the sentence above a simile or a metaphor? Explain your decision.
5) What did John decide to do when all the villagers were down at the cliffs watching
the ship?

Due Tuesday: S.S. Tell your parents of your plans for the marketplace exercise on Thursday. If you want to bring baked goods in, your parents need to give permission then
shop so they can be brought in for Thursday of next week.
Garage sale items? Again, ask which items from home are not wanted and you could bring in to trade in class. CDs! I am bringing in some CDs to trade - if you have some you would consider trading with me, bring them in!
