L.A. The Wreckers - Chapter 9 Questions
1) What does "A Ship Embayed" refer to?
2) What was the significance of hearing "2 shots"? 3 shots? 4 shots?
3) Did they see who the caped man riding the horse was? If not, what did they see?
4) They stood at the edge like crows on a roof ride, watching the ship on the sea.
Is the sentence above a simile or a metaphor? Explain your decision.
5) What did John decide to do when all the villagers were down at the cliffs watching
the ship?
