Language Arts: Parody Story (writing sample)
Students are to:
Choose a familiar childhood story or fable - re-read it to fill in memory gaps
Construct a T-comparison chart showing original characters and events vs parodied version
i.e. 3 Little Pigs > 3 Little...chimps
Houses of
straw, bricks > 3 tree houses etc etc
